VINEYARD TOURS AND AGRICULTURE EDUCATION LECTURES
The winery will emphasize its earth friendly environment in honor of Earth Day on Friday, April 22, 2005. Vineyard tours and Agriculture Education Lectures will take place throughout the day, highlighting the ways in which agriculture, wineries and vineyards participate daily in preserving the environment.
Vineyard tours of the Estate’s six acre Sangiovese vineyard at:
10:30am, 12:30pm & 2:30pm- hosted by Edna Chinn (with over 10 years of wine tour experience), Proprietor Patty Brower and Winemaker Bill Anderson.
Evan Oaks of Ag Venture Tours will host an Agriculture Education Lecture at 12noon and 2pm in the Wine Estate’s Conservatory. Evan has a Masters in Agriculture with an emphasis in Viticulture and brings over 13 years of experience in the local industry. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic lunch, while enjoying the outdoors as Evan elaborates on the rich agriculture of Monterey County. Organic/Conventional farming, climate, local crops and agricultural history will all be discussed in their relevance with Earth Day.
